Figure 2 – MIC v3 – Example Member Profile completion percentage on the Dashboard of Member Information Center v3

How percentage is calculated
Formula:
Overall profile completion = value of all items complete / value of all items available to that member
The percentage is calculated based only on features that are available to that particular member. See the point values given to each item. The items displayed on the summary page are the items that are available to this member.
Example
Figure 3- Summary page showing profile completion percentages when accessing Company Information under Account Settings or when clicking View Profile from the Home/Dashboard of the Member Information Center v4
The percentage complete of 77% listed in Figure 3 above can be broken out as follows using the point values provided in this document:
*
All Organization Information items are available and are complete = 15/15 pts
*
Website Information: Search Description (10 pts) and Bullets (5 pts) are not available to this member. But of the items that are available, 30 of the 40 points are complete. = 30/40 pts
*
Map Pin Information: All three item are available but only one of those three have been completed. 5/10 pts
*
Photos & Logos: This 4th section is not displayed at all in this example because this member is most likely a Basic Package member and does not have access to upload the photos & logos. However, you should note that some Basic Package members MAY have this available to them if you have enabled the setting under Setup->Member Login Area Options and Settings->Settings tab: Allow Enhanced Content for all Members -> Enabled. In this example, the member receives 0/0 pts
