Overview of Social Feed in MIC4
Member Information Center version 4 provides a place where members can network, share ideas, and encourage each other with tips, tricks, news and helpful information.
Types of posts
Members and staff may post one of these many items in the Community Feed:
*
*
*
*
*
Changes to Email Address, Physical Address (Addr1, Addr2, City, State, PostalCode, Country), or Web Display Address (Addr1, City, State, PostalCode, Country) will trigger the profile update post
*
Posts will not appear until the item has been set to Approved status by the office staff in the back office software. Deals, jobs and MarketSpace items may be set to auto-approve, in which case, these items would immediately appear in the Community Feed.
Items entered in the back office software by staff will not appear in the Community Feed; only items entered within the MIC have potential to appear in the Feed (based on approval status).

How to log in to the Member Information Center as a staff person
Staff may post as themselves if they access the Member Information Center using the MIC button in the upper right-hand menu bar. Clicking the MIC button will allow them to access the MIC logged in as the staff person. Posts may be made by staff in this way without having to create a member for their organization.
Note: the MIC button only appears if Member Information Center version 4 is enabled
