Google Enhanced and Google Basic Selections
Google Enhanced and Google Basic checkmarks are available for your members to give more value to selected members. These selections are available on the Marketing tab. They also appear on the Members->Web tab in the Web Participation Options Display Attributes when version 1.0 of the public website modules are in use.
For those that have integrated their website using the Search Engine Optimized (SEO) method of integration, these checkmarks are no longer needed. Checking or un-checking them will not make any difference. These search engine optimizations are already included in any of the SEO method of website integrations.
For customers who remain on the original method of website integration, when these checkmarks are selected, the members may experience an increase in their priority in Google (or other) Search Engine results.
Google Basic adds the member’s keywords to the Member Information Page’s metatag information. Google Enhanced uses the member name in the URL and page title which increases Google priority.
