Beta version of Member Information Center Released 11/09/2012 Now available for beta review is the new Member Information Center with a fresh, uncluttered interface that directs attention to pertinent member tasks like updating their profile, participating in events, paying their bill and utilizing benefits. More white-space provides clean, easy look for members Member profile completion percentage given center-stage focus Custom styling available New! Members can submit their own News Releases for posting on your website (almost ready) New! Custom resource section for accessing uploaded files and links made available by office staff New! "Refer a member" selection available for members to recommend their colleagues. New! "Membership Badge" widget provides member with specific website code touting their membership that can be placed on their site. Turn on this beta version under Setup->Member Login Area Options and Settings. Select "3.0 (Beta)" for the Home Page Appearance Version. Going back is as easy as changing this selection back to what you had before. Note: the new Member Center can be enabled for your members no matter which version of your public website modules you have integrated. It is also available for all editions of our software. Additional Updates Released 12/18/2012 Custom, personalized "Welcome" text greets your member upon login. Members can submit their own News Releases for posting on your website. Rep can upload their photo for a personal touch. Browse a list of members (will count in the members' hit stats!) Member may copy a past event when submitting a new event for inclusion on your calendar. Custom rep interests may be collected such as which events they are passionate about and their interest level in different benefits Additional Updates Released 1/24/2013 Search for members by similar interests or by groups using the Member Search selection under Benefits. Work with the Member Center translated to Spanish or French by clicking the Translate icon in the upper right hand corner after logging into the MIC. After choosing your language choice, the Member Center will render all appropriate menus, titles, descriptions and words in your selected language. This selection will remain in effect during that session of the Member Center but must be selected each time you return. Preview the new look of member reports under the new Reports menu. Ability for the member to upload a graphic to be used as a custom header on their Member Information Page. Although all enhanced members have the ability to upload this graphic under Profile->Photos & Logos, it will only display on their member page if allowed by the global setting in the Integration Settings Control Panel. Available for those with the Marketing Package and those with the 3.0 public modules. The Integration Settings Control Panel must be set to Yes on the General tab for #10 - Allow member page Header. Control permission of access to create and view News Releases on a rep by rep basis in the Member Center. Enable the permission under Setup->Member Login Area Options and Settings. Then make sure your reps have this new permission set to Read/Write or Read-Only by editing each permission set under Setup->Manage Permission Sets.
