Completing Gift Card Setup
After completing your signup, view the steps listed on the Gift Cards->GiftLocal tab to promote your program. This includes purchasing a community gift card for yourself that can be used at any of your member businesses. Follow the Buy Your Community Card link to do so. (Step 1)
Then tell your members to do the same using the provided link (Step 2).
You could also share with your members how they can create their own branded gift card. To assist your members in knowing that they have this new gift card program available, turn on the banner ad in their Member Information Center. In addition, make sure the “Buy a Gift Card” button is turned on next to their name in your online public business directory. Turn on these program settings on the Giftcards->Settings tab.
In addition you could gain $25 additional non-dues revenue for each member that would upgrade their gift card to the Premium version. This spiff program is available through MicroNet as part of your agreement when you opted into the program in your database. Contact MicroNet Customer Service for more information.
Note: Your own associations’ community gift card has already been upgraded to the Premium version courtesy of MicroNet.
