Reasons that pop-ups might still be blocked
There may be multiple embedded pop-up blockers installed. Each of these blockers must either be set to allow the pop-ups or be turned off completely.
Warning: many times software is installed that seems helpful (i.e. a nice-looking toolbar or shortcut utility) but ultimately hinders productivity. That is the case with a number of programs that block ChamberMaster / MemberZone. Take an inventory of the programs that you have installed; you may find that uninstalling these extra programs may be the most beneficial and will then allow display of all windows & reports.
The source for pop-up blockers vary widely and include but are not limited to security software (like Norton Internet Security, ZoneAlarm, McAfee Security etc.), your own ISP (Comcast, NetZero, EarthLink etc.), browser toolbars (Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL etc.), the browser software itself (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla etc.) and specific pop-up blocker software (Pop-Up Stopper, Pop-Up Cop etc.)
Internet Explorer 7
With Internet Explorer v. 7 you may find some unexpected blockers by viewing the installed toolbars. From the Tools menu , hover on Toolbars. This will display a list of tool bars; those checked are already displaying but those unchecked are not displaying but are still active. You may need to click to display this toolbar and then turn off any associated pop-up blocker.
Symptoms of pop-up being blocked
If you experience occasions when a window will not display, please look for some indication on your system at that time, such as an icon or sound, to determine what program is blocking the window from appearing. Check all your applications listed in the "Programs" menu of the "Start" button to see if any of them include a pop-up blocker that may be blocking your window from appearing.
